Craft Transition Process for Richmond Country Constructors, LLC

Georgia Power has contracted with Bechtel to manage daily construction efforts for the Vogtle Units 3 & 4 project. Bechtel will sub-contract the labor portion of the contract to Richmond County Constructors, LLC (RCC), which has been formed as a joint venture between Bechtel and Williams Plant Services.

During the weeks ahead, craft will complete contingent hiring paperwork in groups by discipline during regular working hours in building 130 onsite. If you are not sure when your session will occur, check with your area supervisor, general foreman, foreman or job stewards.

During these sessions, craft will complete field employment records, I-9s, W-4s, G-4s, direct deposit information (bring a voided check), EEOs, and Vets 100s. To complete the paperwork, craft will need to have two forms of government identification (drivers’ license, passport, visa, or green card) with their Social Security Card to support I-9 verification. You will need to provide your OSHA 10/30 card and disclose any payroll garnishments.

Please note, your current badge will remain active throughout the transition process—your badge will just be transferred to RCC on the effective transfer date. Hardhats and additional RCC equipment will be distributed at a later date.
